Practices
Wonderbots practices will be held at Ross Park Elementary School immediately following dismissal from school. We will practice until 6pm. As we get closer to our competition date we will add a few practices on Saturday mornings (more details to come).

Future Saturday practices will focus on the presentation aspect of the competition.
We will work on the following at each practice.

ROBOT DESIGN
Our team will prepare a short explanation on our robot design, programs, and strategy.
Identify our mission strategy.
Design our robot and programs and create an effective plan.
Create our robot and coding solution.
Iterate, test, and improve our robot and program.
Communicate our robot design process and everyone’s contributions.
ROBOT GAME
Our team will have three 2.5-minute matches to complete as many missions as possible.
Build the mission models and set up the field mat.
Review the missions and rules.
Design and build a robot.
Explore building and coding skills while practicing with our robot on the mat.
Compete at an event!
INNOVATION PROJECT
Our team will prepare a live, engaging presentation to explain the work we have done on our innovation project.
Identify and research a problem.
Design a new solution or improve an existing one based on our selected idea, brainstorming, and plan.
Create a model, drawing, or prototype.
Iterate on our solution by sharing it with others and collecting feedback.
Communicate our solution’s potential impact.
